3. i went around the world but now i’m back
helloooooo everyone, it’s benjamin.
It’s been a while since we’ve done this. So long in fact that I almost forgot. It’s not easy to stay rooted in the present, but if you want to give it a try your best bet is right here on Affable Chat NOW.
I’ve been gone for a little while. My employer is generous enough to offer a sabbatical every 4 years and I recently enjoyed mine. My girlfriend and I went to Europe together for the first week and a half. We visited Greece, Sweden, and England. We made memories that will last us a lifetime… or at least another 4 years until I take another sabbatical. I’m currently recapping my travels on the live stream. So far I’ve covered Greece and Sweden but there’s still plenty to cover. Watch the VODs or tune in on Tuesday nights at 7pm EASTERN time to see my recap of more of my trip.
After we got back from Europe I spent a couple of days in the house before flying out to Arizona to visit one of my all time favorite people. We hung out and made a podcast together that you can listen to right here.
Next I flew to California to spend some time relaxing with my family. My girlfriend even flew out to join me for labor day weekend and we went camping with my brother and his fiancé. The weather was spectacular and we had an incredible time. Where I’m from we see California as a liberal hell hole but I think we can all agree they’ve got some unbelievable nature to enjoy out there.
After California I flew to New York City to visit some friends and family. I was so fortunate to be able to link with my college friend TurnDownForWalt and interview him on the podcast. We talked about being content creators and what it’s like for him to be a decently large member of the Super Smash Bros Melee community. You can listen to my interview with him here.

Joey and his brother Ben have recorded the ‘Morbcast’ about the blockbuster hit ‘Morbius: It’s Morbin Time’. You do not want to miss this amazing episode. Whether you’ve seen the movie or not this is a must listen.
Joey and I are going to review RRR. I am actually about to watch it right after I finish this blog post. I’ve heard good things but mostly I have no idea what it’s about. You should watch it too so that we can talk about it together.
